The Afton String Quartet provides exceptional performances to audiences of all ages, at a wide variety of venues throughout their home state of Virginia. With the belief that live chamber music can be a vital part of any community, the ASQ has performed traditional recitals and radio broadcasts, and presented a diverse array of educational programs, each created by the ASQ around a specific theme.
The ASQ has been the recipient of local grants, and collaborated with noted composer, Ellen Lindquist.
